I am a member of the Diocese of Toronto Ecclesiastical Needlework Commitee.When we have vnemtests or silk hangings that need cleaning we use dry cleaners that advertise heritage care or special care sometimes called hand finishing. You would need to tell them what fabrics are involved, and ask specifically if they can do it. We have had to make replacement hangings for a church who had a fire, and their insurance company took it to a cleaner without checking with the church or the cleaner to see if they could do it. The dry cleaner managed to shrink the fringe and generally fry the superfrontal, so you need to talk to someone fairly senior at the cleaners to be sure they know what they are getting, and can do it. If your chasuble is silk DO NOT wash it. Hope this helps.
