At Istok Church Supplies, we offer an extensive range of Orthodox orarions that are constructed using the best quality fabrics, trimmings and richly embroidered crosses. We work with reliable fabric suppliers to produce orarions with finest quality workmanship. 
 
Orarions in Different Styles
In Orthodox Christian tradition, an orarion is worn by deacons, sub-deacons, protodeacons and altar servers who have been blessed. A deacon’s orarion is a sign of his rank and significance within the clergy. In Slavic tradition, a deacon wears a single orarion whereas in Byzantine tradition, he wears a double orarion that matches the vestment fabric. Whether you prefer to wear single-sided or two-sided orarion, we give you an opportunity to select the style. You can also select the decoration style and upgrade your order with natural velvet inserts and cuffs. 
 
Excellent Choice of Materials and Colors
Our orarions are made from excellent materials such as Russian silk, Chinese silk, Russian metallic brocade and Greek metallic brocade. You can select from a wide variety of color combinations such as black-gold, blue-gold, violet-silver and white-gold and others to ensure the orarion compliments your vestment. We also offer two-sided protodeacon orarions made from natural German velvet material. Our protodeacon orarions feature rich embroidery and sacred words rendered in classic style. Choose from embroidered vine, wattled, iris and chrysanthemum designs and wear your orarion with pride. 
 
Made-to-Measure Services
Customers have the option to select color and add cuffs to their order of protodeacon orarion. The orarions we offer can be made as per your specific measurements. You may provide your exact dimensions for a custom-made orarion by referring to our online Measurement Chart. When ready to order, simply select from customization options and add to cart.
