Orthodox Christian canons prescribe vestments of specific liturgical colors that are to be worn by altar servers as they carry out their duties during important church services. There is a lot of symbolism attached to colors – for example black is a color that is worn during the Great Lent period on the week days. Our black and gold child sticharion pieces of rayon jacquard and metallic brocade are designed to provide maximum comfort and minimum distraction for altar servers as they assist higher clergy during church services. We offer our products in three decoration variations – Standard, Premium and Luxury. Standard styles feature low cost galloon and plain crosses whereas Premium creations include good quality galloon and elaborate embroidery on crosses. For Luxury styles, we use solid jacquard galloon and splendid hand embroidery rendered by expert craftsmen in our Europe-based workshop.

Priority to Comfort and Fit

All sticharions in this collection are meant to be worn by non-tonsured persons and hence have closed sides. We provide excellent quality velvet inserts and natural rayon lining as optional additions to enhance the look of these vestments. Our sticharions are light weight – measuring a little over a kilogram – and designed to be comfortable, especially since church services can be time consuming and require long periods of standing.
